1. Scope of Service

CleanBoot PC Services specializes in Windows-based PC repair and maintenance. We offer:

  • PC tune-ups and performance optimization
  • Malware, virus, and spyware removal
  • Hardware installation (RAM, GPU, and compatible components)
  • Backup configuration and data management
  • Windows and driver updates

We service desktop and tower PCs only — we do not service Mac computers, Linux computers, tablets, smartphones, or gaming consoles.

2. Booking & Appointments

Service is booked by submitting our online contact form or calling us directly. A booking is confirmed when we reply with a scheduled pickup window. We aim to respond to all inquiries within a few hours during business hours.

Appointments are subject to availability. Same-day service is offered in most cases but cannot be guaranteed during high-demand periods.

3. Pickup & Return

We offer door-to-door pickup and return within our service area. The customer must ensure someone is available to hand over the device and, upon return, to accept it.

Devices left unattended on doorsteps are the customer's responsibility until we confirm receipt. We will photograph the device upon pickup and upon return for records.

Travel outside our standard service area may incur a small additional fee, which will be disclosed before booking is confirmed.

Device Condition: Please disclose all known issues when booking. Hidden hardware failures discovered during service may require additional time and cost. We'll always communicate before proceeding with any extra work.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon return of the device. We accept major payment methods. Final quotes are provided before any work begins beyond the booked service.

  • Service is billed at the quoted rate plus any parts if applicable
  • Labor rates begin at $40 depending on the service
  • Parts must be approved and supplied by the customer or purchased through us at cost
  • We do not offer invoicing or net-30 terms for new customers

5. Data & Privacy

Customer data on devices is treated with respect and confidentiality. We do not access, copy, or share personal files without explicit permission. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your information.

We recommend backing up important data before bringing in your device. While we take reasonable care, we cannot be held responsible for data loss due to pre-existing hardware failure or undetected drive issues.

6. Limitation of Liability

CleanBoot PC Services' liability is limited to the value of the service performed. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Data loss beyond what is directly caused by our negligence
  • Issues arising from pre-existing hardware or software conditions
  • Loss or damage to devices left unattended outside of our possession
  • Issues resulting from customer-supplied parts that are defective or incompatible

7. Service Warranty

We stand behind our work. All services carry a 90-day workmanship warranty covering:

  • Recurrence of the same issue we were hired to fix
  • Problems introduced by our repair process (not pre-existing)
  • Faulty installation of customer-supplied parts we installed

The warranty does not cover new issues unrelated to the original service, damage from misuse, liquid damage, or hardware failures that occur after the device leaves our possession.

8. Cancellations

You may cancel or reschedule by calling or emailing us at least 2 hours before your pickup window without penalty. Cancellations within 2 hours of the scheduled pickup may be subject to a $25 no-show fee.

If a device has already been collected and you wish to cancel service after pickup, you will be charged a $40 retrieval and restocking fee to return the device.
